What people ask before they engage.

These answers reflect the current pre-pilot stage and will be updated as testing progresses.

Is eSENDplan live?

eSENDplan is a working pre-pilot platform under active development. Structured pilot activity with selected schools and local authorities is planned for early 2027.

Who is the pilot for?

The pilot is primarily for schools and local authorities. Relevant specialist, family and social-care workflows may be tested within those coordinated environments.

Is the pilot free?

Yes. Selected organisations will receive a 15-day free pilot, with agreed users, scope and feedback activity.

Does one shared record mean everyone sees everything?

No. Access is controlled by role, organisation, assignment and involvement. Each portal shows only the information needed for that role.

Where is data hosted?

The current private pre-pilot environment is designed around UK data residency. Detailed hosting and governance arrangements will be confirmed with pilot organisations.

Does AI decide anything?

No. Planned AI Insights are assistive only. They are designed to provide an observation, a recommendation to consider and linked research evidence. A qualified professional always decides.

What is already in the platform?

Core role portals, plans, provision, reviews, casework, specialist contributions, attendance context, safeguarding routing and audit activity are represented in the current platform.

What is still in design?

Early identification, disagreement resolution, mediation workflows, tribunal packs and extended social-care workflows remain in design.

Is eSENDplan a product of River Thames Limited?

Yes. eSENDplan is a product of River Thames Limited, an emerging UK technology firm focused on responsible AI and digital solutions for education and health.
